Savory Asian Pear Tarte

 1 puff pastry sheet
 ½ goat cheese log
 1 Asian pear, halved and thinly sliced
 1 handful of pistachios
 1 egg white
 1 sprig of fresh thyme
 balsamic glaze and honey for drizzle

Preheat oven to 375 F. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper. Place a puff pastry sheet on parchment paper and cut off any excess dough to make a large circle.

Spread the goat cheese in the center and arrange Asian pear slices on top. Fold over the edges of the dough to form a border about 1 inch thick.

Brush the egg white around the border and sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with a drizzle balsamic glaze and honey! ENJOY!
