Spread goat cheese on both sides of the sandwich – your desired amount. Place Asian pear slices onto one side of the sandwich bread and sprinkle chopped walnuts across the slice. Sandwich the bread together and butter the top and bottom of the sandwich.
Place into a medium sized saucepan or cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Cook until golden brown, or about 2 minutes, flip, and repeat. Once both sides have been cooked, remove from heat and cut into slices. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or drizzle with hot honey. Enjoy!
