You’ll be jubilant over this jubilee so stock up on your favorite vanilla ice cream, ripen up those peaches, and prepare the cherries. Don’t forget to freeze any prepped fruit extras so you can enjoy this dessert all year long regardless of whether peaches and cherries are in-season!
Peach and Cherry Jubilee
- 2 ripe organic peaches, sliced thin
- 2 cups cherries, pitted and sliced in half
- 1 TBS butter
- 3 TBS berry jam
- 1/2 cup of brandy liquor
- Vanilla ice cream
Melt berry jam and butter in a large shallow saucepan on medium heat. Add in peaches and cherries and heat through. Pour brandy over the fruit and heat the liquid with a long match until it ignites. Cook until the flames die down. Serve fruit over a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
