It’s time to shake up breakfast because this blueberry pizza is hot and ready!

Blueberry Breakfast Pizza

Ingredients:

  • Ready to bake pizza dough – enough for two 8” rounds
  • 1 cup fresh organic blueberries
  • ¼ cup of blueberry jam
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp of balsamic vinegar reduction sauce (or balsamic vinegar)
  • ½ cup plain cream cheese
  • Fresh ground pepper

Instructions:

Divide pizza dough into two rounds and bake (per instructions) until the crust is fully cooked and browned. Allow to cool slightly. While pizza dough is cooking, place blueberries, jam, and water into a saucepan on the stovetop on medium heat. Cook the berries down until they have soften and the water has dissolved leaving a thickened sauce. Stir in balsamic reduction sauce (or balsamic vinegar) and two to three grinds of fresh pepper. Remove from heat and set aside. Spread ¼ cup of cream cheese on each pizza round, then top each with half of the blueberry sauce. Top with another 2-3 grinds of fresh pepper. Slice and serve with juice.
