Sweetness nurtured, flavor perfected—organic stonefruit at its finest.
A Legacy of Organics
Organic fruit isn’t just what we grow—it’s who we are. Our story began in 1989, when our founding farmers chose to transition their family farms to organic, setting a new course rooted in stewardship and generational thinking. Today, we proudly partner with over 100 organic growers, cultivating more than 8,000 acres of fresh, organic fruit—including stonefruit. From peaches and nectarines to plums and apricots, our organic stone fruit is grown with care.
Caring for the Land
As stewards of the land, we grow our stone fruit using organic and regenerative practices that protect and restore the ecosystems they depend on. By focusing on soil health—encouraging microbial life, supporting pollinators, and building organic matter—we create resilient orchard environments that naturally produce vibrant, flavorful fruit season after season.
Caring for the Environment
Protecting natural resources is essential to how we bring stone fruit to market. Across our orchards and facilities, we focus on responsible water use, energy efficiency, and thoughtful resource management. From water conservation practices to investments in renewable energy, electric vehicles, and more sustainable packaging options, we continuously look for ways to reduce our environmental footprint while delivering fresh, high-quality fruit.
Caring for People
Growing stone fruit with care begins with the people behind it. As an employee-owned company, we believe shared purpose and shared responsibility strengthen everything we do. Through our EFI-certified programs, we support fair compensation, safe working conditions, and open collaboration—creating workplaces where people are respected, engaged, and empowered to contribute to the integrity of every harvest.
We believe caring for our communities is an extension of how we grow. Through our employee-led Committed to Caring volunteer program, we support local communities through year-round initiatives—from providing meals to collecting donations and identifying meaningful ways to give back. By investing time and resources where they’re needed most, we work to make a positive impact beyond the farm.

Meet the Growers
Agustin
Cardenas
Agustin Cardenas was first introduced to farming while working in the fields when he moved from Mexico to the United States in 1984. Agustin’s passion for growing fruit for people led him to lease and later purchase the land from his employer’s ranch. Delight in Agustin’s bright smile and infectious laugh while he shares the struggles and successes of organic farming.
The Peterson
Family
Father-son duo Vern and Erik Peterson grow tree fruit including peaches, plums, nectarines, and even persimmons. Together, they carry on the 100-year family tradition of dedication to soil health and farmworker fairness. The Peterson Family was the first stonefruit farm to become Equitable Food Initiative (EFI) certified and the first fresh produce farm in the world to earn Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC) at the Gold level.
