Always in Season
From the first bloom of spring to the final harvest of fall, we grow fruit with one mission in mind: to deliver bold, vibrant flavor while caring for the land, our people, and future generations. With organic offerings available year-round — including berries, citrus, stone fruit, grapes, pomegranates, and kiwi — there’s always something fresh in season to enjoy.
Berries
Small but mighty—our berries are bursting with flavor and grown with care. From blueberries and blackberries to seasonal specialties like red currants and kiwi berries, we offer a vibrant variety of delicious berries all year long.
Citrus
From classics like Navel Oranges to specialty varieties like Cara Cara Oranges and Blood Oranges—bring bold flavors and vibrant colors to every season. Grown in California’s richest soils and harvested at peak ripeness, each piece tells a story of tradition and care.
Stone Fruit
A summer favorite. Our organic stone fruit—including peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots, and pluots—is grown with regenerative and socially responsible practices, delivering juicy, sun-ripened flavors of California summer.
Fall Fruit
From crisp Fuyu Persimmons to antioxidant-rich pomegranates and our one-of-a-kind Mammoth® Kiwi, our fall fruit program celebrates the season with vibrant colors, bold taste, and hand-harvested care.
Grapes
Crisp, juicy, and refreshingly sweet—our California-grown organic grapes are harvested at peak ripeness for vibrant color and flavor. We work with trusted growers who prioritize quality, sustainability, and care for the land.
Fresh Figs
Soft, sweet, and full of character, our California-grown figs capture the warmth of late summer. With notes of honey, berry, and subtle floral sweetness, each fig is hand-harvested at peak ripeness for rich flavor and a delicate, velvety texture.
Agustin
Cardenas
Agustin Cardenas was first introduced to farming while working in the fields when he moved from Mexico to the United States in 1984. Agustin’s passion for growing fruit for people led him to lease and later purchase the land from his employer’s ranch. Delight in Agustin’s bright smile and infectious laugh while he shares the struggles and successes of organic farming.
The Peterson
Family
Father-son duo Vern and Erik Peterson grow tree fruit including peaches, plums, nectarines, and even persimmons. Together, they carry on the 100-year family tradition of dedication to soil health and farmworker fairness. The Peterson Family was the first stonefruit farm to become Equitable Food Initiative (EFI) certified and the first fresh produce farm in the world to earn Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC) at the Gold level.
Pipco Fruit
Company
For more than 70 years the Paul family has farmed in California’s Central Valley as Pipco Fruit Company. John Paul, the fourth generation, is growing organic stonefruit and continuing the family farming legacy. Stephen Paul, a third-generation farmer and Homegrown Category Director joins his son on the farm.
France
Ranch
You may find a familiar face in farmer John France. John and Cindy France are the family farmers that founded Homegrown Organic Farms back in 1998. They were also among the first growers in California to go organic when they certified their family farm, France Ranch, in 1989. Homegrown transitioned to an ESOP in 2021, but France Ranch continues to grow EFI-certified organic grapes and citrus.
