New Sales Category Manager

Homegrown Organic Farms Hires New Sales Category Manager and Restructures Sales Office
Porterville, CA, (May 6th, 2008) – On May 1st Homegrown Organic Farms hired Dennis Maul to provide additional support for the growing volume of row crops that they now offer. Dennis will manage the melon, onion and potato categories and offer sales support for all row crops. This includes such items as lettuce, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, peppers and onions.

Dennis graduated from Fresno State University in 1964 and has been involved in the produce industry ever since. He spent thirty seven years at Metco selling numerous row crops and worked as an independent broker in the off season out of the Santa Maria and Oxnard areas.

Scott Mabs, Director of Marketing for Homegrown Organic Farms, stated “Dennis brings an incredible amount of experience to our organization both in sales and in the field. He will give us the support needed to continue the growth we are experiencing at this time without sacrificing our customer service and expertise on the organic items that we represent.”

The addition of Dennis Maul is part of a larger restructuring of the sales office that will focus Dennis and Brenda Haught specifically on row crops and Seth Tillery and Tom Underwood on permanent crops. The growth in the number of items and volumes required a change to keep pace with the sales and details that each category brings.
